29 days left [lola's bday]

There are several things I'm looking forward to this month. March holds important dates for me. I love having things to look forward to. It makes life a bit more colorful. Speaking of colorful, I can hardly wait for spring. Warmer weather and the sight of flowers budding tickles me to my core. Although, I hope the pollen count wont be too horrid. I'm also excited to use my new instant cam for this spring. It's so addicting taking pictures with it. Every part of me is thrilled when the instant picture slides out of the camera. Waiting for the picture to turn out gives me warm and fuzzy feelings as it slowly reveals the image. For these reasons I named my new instant cam, Joya. I actually have a friend with that last name, but I decided to name my cam that because it's like a little bundle of instant joy.

Today is my lola's birthday. She passed away five months ago. My mom is handling it well, but of course she is a little =/. I'd probably be doing a lot worse if I were her. Last night I was watching an OTH episode, and one of the main character's mom also passed away. I love OTH, because it has tear-jerking story lines. Anyways, I thought it was interesting that I saw that last night, and today is my lola's birthday.

Death has a way of making me soft. If I have any anger, hurt, or frustration against somebody, it quickly melts away when I'm reminded of how short life is. Life is only long enough for us to love more. Time mustn't be wasted otherwise. At least, that's what I think.
