tugging on heartstrings
I feel a random desire to post my top favorite movies and why I fancy them so.
#1 Pride & Prejudice (2005)
This one is no surprise. I've expressed many times before I how dote on this movie. It wasn't so much on the plot, but more on the soundtrack and cinematography. Absolutely beautiful. Awesome actors as well. This is ranked #1, but everything after this will be in somewhat random order.
#2 While You Were Sleeping (1995)
This movie is so freaking adorable. I am a big fan of Sandra Bullock, and it might've been due to this movie. It has such a cute and unique plot. I like movies that can make me cry. This one gave me a tear jerk.
#3 13 Going on 30 (2004)
With a "Rip Van Winkle" theme, it is similar to the movie "Big" with Tom Hanks. I love Jennifer Garner, and I like her chemistry with Mark Ruffalo here. Again, it had a nice tear jerk towards the end.
#4 Valentine's Day (2010)
I really enjoy movies with multiple main characters that are all connected in some way. This one has a lot of my favorite actors. I have yet to see "New Year's Eve" which I'm sure will be somewhat similar to this movie.
#5 The Vow (2012)
So what if I just recently saw this. I don't care. I love it! I love the whole amnesia theme (thanks Kdramas), and I'm a big fan of Rachel McAdams. The way they filmed this movie made me wish I lived in Chicago. This movie was refreshingly different and not as predictable as it seems.
#6 The Terminal (2004)
I think Tom Hanks is a brilliant actor. I grew up watching many of his films. This story is so unique and very moving. It's not really a romantic, but more of a slice of life I would say. The theme of waiting really spoke to me.
#7 You've Got Mail (1998)
This movie is such a classic. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are a dynamic duo. It's funny re-watching it, because of the technology differences from now a days. *sighs* Back when E-mails weren't full of spam.
#8 Persuasion (2007)
I really liked this version of Persuasion. I'm pretty sure there a many versions. It was emotionally gripping and satisfactory. I didn't think it'd be that great, but after seeing the whole thing I fell in love with it.

seeking solitude
I need some alone time, peace and quiet.
I need to find a hole where I can hide in, away from everybody.

snap click
It's been a while since I've taken pictures seriously with my dslr. I've been on a slight hiatus, because I've simply lost interest. I still love expressing myself and my creativity through photography, so I'm hoping to get back in the swing of things. Part of my disinterest is due to the lack of space in my computer. I constantly have to transfer pictures to my external hard drive to make room for new pictures. It's such a chore. Also, I usually don't have enough gas to drive to beautiful locations.
I love going through hundreds of pictures and editing them. I can spend two-three hours straight just sitting in front of my computer post processing captured memories. I find it therapeutic.
The weather today inspired me to go back to doing what I love. It felt like spring today. I got my dslr in spring. I'm excited to start snapping again. A lot of people have expressed their appreciation for my photographs. They've even asked permission to save and use them for their use. I should care more about copyright stuff, but I'm just meh, do what you want with them. Despite that, I still doubt my skills, especially when people expect me to be really good. Echs echs

Russel Kelfer
Desperately, helplessly, longingly, I cried;
Quietly, patiently, lovingly, God replied.
I pled and I wept for a clue to my fate . . .
And the Master so gently said, "Wait."
"Wait? you say wait?" my indignant reply.
"Lord, I need answers, I need to know why!
Is your hand shortened? Or have you not heard?
By faith I have asked, and I'm claiming your Word.
"My future and all to which I relate
Hangs in the balance, and you tell me to wait?
I'm needing a 'yes', a go-ahead sign,
Or even a 'no' to which I can resign.
"You promised, dear Lord, that if we believe,
We need but to ask, and we shall receive.
And Lord I've been asking, and this is my cry:
I'm weary of asking! I need a reply."
Then quietly, softly, I learned of my fate,
As my Master replied again, "Wait."
So I slumped in my chair, defeated and taut,
And grumbled to God, "So, I'm waiting for what?"
He seemed then to kneel, and His eyes met with mine . . .
and He tenderly said, "I could give you a sign.
I could shake the heavens and darken the sun.
I could raise the dead and cause mountains to run.
"I could give all you seek and pleased you would be.
You'd have what you want, but you wouldn't know Me.
You'd not know the depth of my love for each saint.
You'd not know the power that I give to the faint.
"You'd not learn to see through clouds of despair;
You'd not learn to trust just by knowing I'm there.
You'd not know the joy of resting in Me
When darkness and silence are all you can see.
"You'd never experience the fullness of love
When the peace of My spirit descends like a dove.
You would know that I give, and I save, for a start,
But you'd not know the depth of the beat of My heart.
"The glow of my comfort late into the night,
The faith that I give when you walk without sight.
The depth that's beyond getting just what you ask
From an infinite God who makes what you have last.
"You'd never know, should your pain quickly flee,
What it means that My grace is sufficient for thee.
Yes, your dearest dreams overnight would come true,
But, oh, the loss, if you missed what I'm doing in you.
"So, be silent, my child, and in time you will see
That the greatest of gifts is to truly know me.
And though oft My answers seem terribly late,
My most precious answer of all is still . . . Wait."
