19 days left [besties]

I busted out my skirt and flip-flops today. Finally! I don't like having to wear socks, and the weather is warm enough to wear my beloved flip-flops. Though I love all the seasons, I especially love the transitional seasons like spring and autumn. The change in the weather is so refreshing. Unlike other changes in my life, the changing of seasons is comforting, because even though they change, I always know what they change into. Winter will always change to spring, and summer will always change to autumn. It is a uniformed change. The changes that I have no control over and that come unexpectedly are the ones that make me anxious and uneasy. They break my comforting routine. Despite my feelings against them, they occur nonetheless.

I hung out with my PK besties. First, I had just planned to hang out with Lizelle, because her and I have not hung out with anybody in a while. But then, we ran into Tasha, so she joined us. We watched a movie at my house and pigged out. It was a momentous occasion. Number one, because no one really chills at my house. I'm usually the one chilling at other people's houses. Number two, the three of us never get the chance to get together other than meeting up for small group once a week. Good times.
