caught in the rain

Hung out with L today. We didn't really know what to do. We were hungry so first thing was first, we had to get food. We satisfied ourselves with the beloved pho and pad thai. Afterwards, we were still trying to figure out what we could do. I've been in the mood to go biking, but neither of us owned a bike. We ended up going to BTC because I had a random urge to get an acoustic guitar. We just browsed to get an idea of the price ranges. I didn't think they were too bad. I had yet another random urge to paint. Ever since going to Artomatic, I felt this sudden inspiration to express myself through art. So we went to A.C. Moore, which was beside Music & Arts, and got painting material. Neither of us are artists, but we figured it would be fun and a good way to kill time. We bought sets of acrylic paint, paint brushes, and canvasses. We went back to her house and set up our stuff in her backyard. There we were painting away with our minds relaxed, though we had to watch out for buggies and flying balls. It started to rain so we brought our stuff inside. After we finished our first canvass, we started working on our second one.
I've always thought that painting was stress relieving. It definitely felt great. Here are the two that I painted. Again, mind you, I am no artist, so this is just silliness.

I call this...."Expedition to the Moon" hahaha. those brown things weren't originally supposed be birds, but someone gave me the idea for it

"Unconventional Rainbow" For the first one, I put a lot more thought into it. For this one, I just went with the flow.
