community

Tonight was my second time attending one of my church's Community Group. It's basically a co-ed small group. I initially wanted to join a Women's Group, but I have come to enjoy being part of my Community Group. Unfortunately, the guy who leads the bible study is very sick, so he was not able to make it. For those of us who were there shared our prayer requests and how God was working in our lives. Our fellowship has been a real blessing. My community group is inter-generational, so I get to glean wisdom from older and mature Christians. The members of CHBC have made it real easy for me to meet new people and open up. They're all so welcoming that I can't help but reciprocate the love that they emanate. I, in turn, want to make some one else feel the way that they have made me feel. I am truly grateful that God has led me to this church. There's no such thing as a perfect church, but there is such a thing as a healthy church. CHBC is such a healthy environment for me to grow spiritually and connect with people from different walks of life.
