stars seen from the fallen

The night sky was so clear tonight. It's not too often that I can see the stars so brightly. It was truly beautiful, but somewhere out there, there are many grieving parents. Today, there was a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut. Twenty-eight people died, most of which were kindergartners. I'm not even a parent, but it is still heart wrenching news to hear. Innocent kids instantly killed. It was their kids' first year of school. Devastatingly enough, it was also their last. A reminder that we live in a fallen world. For reason such as this, Jesus came as a Savior.
