espérame

I've been so blessed to have been able to go to different countries, including Nicaragua, Honduras and Italy. I really miss those places.

I went to Nicaragua back in 2004..I think. A very long time ago. It was before facebook, so I don't really have any pictures from that time. Taking pictures help me remember events. Heh. I remember it being so HOT and dirty. Dirty because the ground would be really dry. So whenever the wind blew, the dust would fly everywhere. I remember cleaning my ears out one night and the ear buds would be brown. LOL. Still, it was a great experience, because it was my first medical missions trip hosted by Cresthill. It was a lot of hard work, but very rewarding knowing it was for the Lord.
I remember hearing this song in the radio several times while I was down there. I thought it was really catchy. A friend that I met there had a tape of it, and wrote down the lyrics for me since I liked it so much.

My first time going to Honduras was in JULY 2006. This was my second medical missions trip in collaboration with some Cresthill people. A team from Nicaragua also came with us.

Honduras reminded me a lot of the Philippines. I very quickly felt at home there.

For both medical missions trip, I had the role of the pharmacist. I helped put medicine in little bags, and handed out the medicine to people with prescriptions. I got to witness mini surgeries as well.

My second trip to Honduras was in JUNE 2008. This time a lot from my church family was able to go. So many fun memories. =) We got to see some awesome places there.

My third trip there was in DECEMBER 2008. It was just my dad and I who went. We helped set up the A.C.E. school there.
My last trip was in JULY 2009. I got to visit the beautiful island of Roatan.

I went to Italy in SEPTEMBER 2007. All my debut money went to the airplane ticket. Heh. Italy is such a romantically beautiful place.

I would love to go back some day, and perhaps visit other European countries.

I'm hoping after I graduate I can get into a one year program for Teaching English as a Second Language. I really like the idea of living in Korea for a year.
