I found it fitting that as I am reading through Romans again, I landed on chapter 12 today. Romans 12 is one of my favorite passages. I think it's a good passage to start the new year. I was particularly convicted by verse 10, because it was even one of my memory verses before.

"Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;"

I haven't been devoted to anyone recently, but myself. It's not that I don't want to. In my head, I always say I'm going to. I think I've become scared of people. They've pushed me to be more recluse, and their favorite word to use on me, secretive.

Sighs. I'm still a working progress.
