in loving memory

Yes, that weird looking kid on the bottom right is me. The one on the left is my lola who just recently passed away. My mom left this morning for the Philippines, and she'll be gone for 10 days. We heard about the news on Friday. My mom really wanted to see my lola before my lola died. She was 87 years old. My mom and her siblings knew lola was about to go soon. My heart broke more for my mom because she didn't get to see her mom alive for the last time. She had plans to go back in July, but she never went. Many people have given money to help out with plane ticket and so many others have given prayers of traveling mercies for my mom. I'm truly grateful for everyone who has done this.

Since Abi and I can't make it the funeral, I just made a card to take our place.

I remember when my parents would need to go somewhere, they would just drop me off at my lola's. She would make me champorado and purefoods hotdog, some of my favorite foods up to now. I remember her to be so nice. So yea, this is in loving memory of her.

When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
When sorrows like sea billows roll;
Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say,
It is well, it is well, with my soul.
