This past weekend I've had the opportunity to be the main photographer for my friend Melissa's wedding. Her, my other friend, Rachelle, and I were best friends in high school. They were a year older than I am so they graduated before I did. Shortly after their graduation, their families moved to a different state. Rachelle's family moved to New Jersey, and Melissa's family moved to Ohio. So that's where I flew this weekend, Springboro, Ohio. It was just too bad that Rachelle couldn't make it out to the wedding.
Julio, Melissa's husband, is deaf, but he is such a sweetheart. From the short time I was with them, I could tell how much he loved Melissa. I think it's awesome how God matched those two together, because they're perfect for each other. Melissa has been signing even before she met Julio. Now, Melissa's whole family and church is trying to learn sign language just so they can communicate with Julio.
I had so much fun during the trip, but it was also quite tiring. I took pictures at her bachelorette party, did a brief engagement session, and then finally her wedding. I uploaded 1160 pictures onto my computer, and that was already after I deleted some on the camera. When I got home, my job still wasn't finished. I still had to edit, organize, watermark, burn, and upload the pictures. Here's a teaser (I'll upload more on facebook):
