can't walk

The past few days have been cool and cloudy. Today, the rain had finally decided to grace us with its presence. It was a wet Sunday morning, but a beautiful one nonetheless. I wore a green summer dress that reminds me of a picnic blanket. I didn't really have a green dress yet so I bought it. It looked like it could fit me so I didn't bother trying it on. This dress took on the name of "long lost" because first I left it in Kuya Mark's car, then at Ate Lyka's house. Four weeks later, I get a chance to finally wear it. I felt like I lost several years in my age while wearing the dress. I was convinced I could pass for a 14-year-old, but don't I already? Oh well.

I was running today. Something I was well advised not to do, because...well because I suck at it. A joint in my right leg is hurting, and so is the bottom of my left foot. I feel like I pulled a muscle in my joint. I lost a flip-flop during one of my runs and I think some rocks on the rough blacktop hit a vein or nerve on my foot. Lesson learned: wear the right shoes next time. But of course the turn of events today were very unexpected with the rain and all.
