daughter of a preacher man

There's something about being a PK(pastor's kid). It's so easy bonding with other PKs even though you've just met them. There's an instant connection and understanding of one another. You have an idea of what the other has been through for you have probably been through something similar as them. You can empathize the hardships, ridicule, responsibilites, expectations, joys, and sorrows involved in being a PK.
The church body always seems to put the spotlight on you. If there's something new in your life, the church members know about it. They're always watching. They always come to you thinking you know all the answers to their questions. Some of us live up to the stereotype of PKs being bad and rebellious, while others try to live above the stereotype. I love all the PKs God has brought into my life: the good, the bad, and the beautifuls. ^_^ There's just that special bond.
